With the Shure 2Xu, you can connect any microphone to the USB port of your computer and record without additional audio interface. Even condenser microphones that need 48V phantom power can be connected. Also contains a mini-jack socket, so you can monitor your sound on the fly using a pair of headphones. The adapter has a wheels to control recording volume, microphone gain and monitor volume (headphone volume) and a push button to enable or disable phantom power (phantom power is often needed for the more sensitive, condenser microphones). You can use only one microphone at the time with this interface.
